Little did I know what things were going to lead to from appearing in the media and how it was going to affect my life. Many people think when you appear on tv you get paid for it. Believe me you don't. You may be fortunate enough to get gifts but don't bank on it.
This is how I knew Steve was right for me and that my life would be happier with him than without him.
Fee - imagine me here crying with you whilst you cry about Tricia buying you a bra!! You were so brave to go on this program - I can't imagine what it's like to sit in front of all those people for real, I know we blog and we open ourselves up for anyone to read our inner most thoughts, but they're not in the same room as us!
I can see such a difference between your first appearance and this second appearance on Tricia. Was it really as wonderful as it seems - the transformation?
Sometimes you need to be given permission to be selfish and to take support from others. Steve seems a lovely bloke - you are so lucky to have found him & him going through all this is a sign of his commitment. My husband is deeply suspicious of counsellors, he's extremely uncomfortable about the fact that I am seeing one at the moment and he would never agree to go to one himself, so I see it's an amazing achievement to get a man so in tune with his emotions and with yours.
Oh are you going to put that episode up too? maybe it's more suited to the "positive life" blog? As I watched these clips I felt I knew you, maybe I watched them when they were broadcast, or maybe it's because I feel a connection to you. Take care x
I used to work as a full time legal secretary was doing a part time law degree and a legal accounts course by correspondence.
Now I help ladies recover from breast cancer surgery with Swimming After Surgery (SAS).
I am currently writing a book to help other ladies through what I have been through which was not only a mastectomy but dealing with the sale of the former matrimonial home and actually signing the Transfer document the day after the major surgery in hospital. Two weeks later I got my Decree Absolute through and then my new life began.
I have my own website http://swimming-after-surgery-sas.org.uk/
I have a wicked sense of humour and this was born out on my wedding day dance when Andy Williams "Can't take my eyes off you" morphed into "the Timewarp".
My motto is there is no practice run at life this is it seize every opportunity you are given and make the most of what life throws at you otherwise life will pass you by.
I am a member of Cancer Buddies Network http://www.cancerbuddiesnetwork.org/

ReplyDeleteWait until you see the lastest episode from Trisha which was screened in March this year.
I still can't believe how my life has changed and is changing.
Best wishes
